Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HomePrint collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit homeprint.design, complete our style questionnaire, contact us or use our design services. In this policy, "HomePrint", "we", "us" and "our" mean HomePrint For Design Services.

1. Who is responsible for your information

HomePrint is operated by HomePrint For Design Services, a sole establishment licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) for Design Services. Trade licence no. 1657191. Dubai Unified Licence (DUL): FJ6139.

HomePrint is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us using the details in section 12.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete the style questionnaire, request a quote or work with us, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, phone number and email address; your questionnaire answers, budget, property details and location; floor plans, photos and other files you upload; and messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or through the website.

Questionnaire progress. Your answers are saved as you complete each step, so we can continue where you left off if you contact us and understand which questions visitors find difficult. Your name, phone number and email address are saved once you select Next on the contact step, even if you do not send the final summary. If you message us from the questionnaire, your message includes the answers given so far.

Project and payment information. If you go ahead with a project, we keep the project files, quotes, invoices and payment records, such as amounts, dates and payment references. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card details.

Website usage information. We use Google Analytics and basic visit measurement to understand which pages are visited and where visitors leave the questionnaire. A temporary session identifier links these steps. When you send an enquiry, we also record the referring website or campaign and your answer about how you heard of HomePrint. Names, contact details and uploaded files are not sent to Google Analytics.

Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. It tells Meta when someone visits a page, answers the first question of the questionnaire, reaches its floor plan step, taps a WhatsApp link or sends an enquiry, so we can see which ads lead to enquiries and show our ads to people likely to be interested. Meta receives this together with technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and cookie identifiers, and may link it to your Facebook or Instagram account. We do not send your name, contact details, questionnaire answers or uploaded files to Meta.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and prepare your quote;
  • design, deliver and support your Design Pack, including revisions and 30-day re-sourcing;
  • communicate with you about your project, including a first WhatsApp message about your enquiry that we write with the help of AI from your questionnaire answers;
  • issue invoices, take payments and keep the business records the law requires;
  • understand how the website is used and improve it; and
  • measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to be interested.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the services you request.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run HomePrint, and only as needed for the purposes above:

  • Google, for website hosting, the questionnaire database, private file storage, business email and website analytics;
  • Meta, for measuring our Facebook and Instagram ads, as described in section 2;
  • Anthropic, whose Claude AI helps us write our first WhatsApp message to you from your style and project answers. Your name, phone number and email are not sent to it;
  • Stripe, for card payments, and Wio Bank, for bank transfers;
  • WhatsApp, when you choose to message us there; and
  • design and production software providers that process project files on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where the law or a competent authority requires it. Your shopping list links to retailers' public product pages; we do not share your personal information with retailers when we prepare your Design Pack.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens, we rely on reputable providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

6. How long we keep your information

  • Questionnaire progress that is never sent is deleted automatically 90 days after the last answer.
  • Project files are kept while you are an active customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can help with revisions, re-sourcing or a later project.
  • Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. How we protect your information

Uploaded files are stored privately and are never publicly accessible. Access to personal information is limited to HomePrint, and we use providers with established security practices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy, correct inaccurate information, delete your information, or stop using it for a particular purpose. To make a request, email hello@homeprint.design. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep certain records where tax or other laws require us to.

9. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to measure website visits. The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; most of the website will continue to work.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the Meta Pixel does not load. You can also control how Meta uses information from other websites to show you ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, under Ad preferences.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
